To some out of towners it might look like Halloween in NYC everyday. But, as we know, Halloween in NYC (and every other holiday) exceeds expectations every year! The audience at last night’s Halloween show by The Tubes at The Iridium (51st and Broadway) ensured the holiday was adequately represented as they dressed up for a great time and to celebrate one of their favorite bands.

Founded in 1997 by Jeff Jaffe, Pop International Galleries - aka “The Pop Gallery” - is an exciting art gallery on The Bowery at the junction of Spring Street in New York City. Pop International specializes in Pop Art, Urban Art and art and photography that is derived from, or influenced by, popular culture.

When I first saw the track list for Bernard Fowler’s new album, Inside Out, I was intrigued. The album is made up of eight songs by The Rolling Stones, but the tunes he chose to cover are far from the Stones' most well known. In fact, four of the tracks were borrowed from 1983’s Undercover, which is not one of the iconic band's most popular efforts

In a city full of diners, and the best ones at that, Ellen’s Stardust Diner stands above the rest in terms of food and overall experience. Ellen’s Stardust Diner is located near Times Square, in the heart of the Theater District at 1650 Broadway, above The Iridium. It is New York City’s most popular diner! It is never empty and many visitors come from far away for this one of a kind experience.

The annual Christmas Tree Lighting at the iconic Tavern On The Green was held on November 29th. This magical setting will be open for visitors throughout December to visit and enjoy.

Where do you find the best Jazz in NYC? In the basement! Every great jazz club in the city is below street level it seems. Since 1902, the Washington Square Hotel (formerly “The Earle”) has been a haven for writers, artists and musicians. Just let these names sink in for a minute: Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Bo Diddley, Maynard Ferguson, Chuck Berry, Rolling Stones, Ernest Hemingway and Dylan Thomas. The Fall/Winter 2018 season of New York Fashion Week was a whirlwind, in the best way. This season was a bit different as New York Fashion Week changed its main venue to Spring Studios. The studios were gorgeous, especially if you had a chance to catch a daytime show with all the natural light streaming in.
