It's fortunate for believers in Judy-ism that Garland the great was born and died, an all-too-short 47 years later, in the same month. This makes June the perfect month to celebrate her amazing life and legacy - especially this year, which marks a half century since her passing. This year two outstanding, irreplaceable singer-shpieler-entertainers will put their personal spin on Garland's incredible songbook. Colleen McHugh (with musical director Tedd Firth) and Natalie Douglas (with MD Mark Harmon) don't sound anything like Garland herself - or, for that matter, like each other, but they both are commanding stylists who know how to catch an audience's attention and hold onto it - and they both are funny, funny, funny, in addition to being top tier vocal artists.
