What could be better than great music for a great cause? The answer is an all-star concert, produced as a benefit for Educational programs that teach early detection and prevention of cancer and a whole host of diseases, that's staged on the amazing setting of a cruise ship circling New York Harbor at twilight. Actress (and health care advocate) Fran Drescher hosts this ambitious, stellar program which features a dozen or so luminaries from the worlds of television, Broadway, cabaret, comedy, and jazz, starting with her colleagues from the classic sitcom The Nanny, TV mom Renee Taylor, co-creator Peter Marc Jacobsen, and Anne Hampton Callaway, who wrote and sang the memorable main title theme.  Also featured, musical theater's Kim Maresca, Joan Ryan, Brenda Braxton, Deborah Cox, drag artist Marti Gould Cummings, comedians Kerri Louise and Carol Montgomery, impressionist and singer Christine Pedi, and the exceptional, harmonically-endowed pianist, singer, and accompanist Billy Stritch.
