Ready to try something different this year for Thanksgiving? Look no farther than the two-hour Thanksgiving Day Dinner Cruise offered by Hornblower Cruises! Enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving buffet-style dinner with maple-glazed turkey and mini pumpkin cheesecakes while taking in the breathtaking views of the New York City skyline and iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge. This popular New American-style NYC restaurant is serving up a three-course prix fixe menu dreamed up by Chef John Fraser. Start with a Fuji apple salad with wild rice or truffled pappardelle, then move on to the main course of slow-roasted turkey and sirloin steak with beef-cheek lasagna. Dessert includes a choice between cheesecake stuffed with port-poached pears and pumpkin pie with walnut brittle. A vegetarian menu and wine pairing option are also available. $138 per regular adult, $175 with wine pairing and $125 per vegetarian meal.

Tavern on the Green
As one of the major landmarks in Central Park, Tavern on the Green also happens to have a pretty amazing Thanksgiving Day feast and the restaurant will be open on the holiday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Chef Bill Peet’s mouthwatering menu includes three courses of traditional Thanksgiving classics influenced by the restaurant’s storied past. Parties of 8 or more must make advance reservations. $125 per adult and $55 for children ages 12 and under.

The Breslin
Located in the Ace Hotel, The Breslin offers haute comfort food and serves as New York’s version of a real English Pub. On Thanksgiving Day, this popular New York eatery will serve up a four-course meal including roasted winter vegetables, sunchoke and apple soup, scallops from Nantucket Bay, Cornish rock hen with stuffing and Scottish salmon with Brussels sprouts. Reservations accepted for parties of all sizes. $75 per person.

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse
If you’re ready to ditch the turkey and opt for a juicy steak instead this year for Thanksgiving Dinner, consider dining at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, which is easily one of New York’s most popular restaurants.
