November ushers in the Holidays in New York City, which means plenty of fun seasonal events, cooler weather and lots of shopping! We’ve put together a list of our favorite NYC November events, including some you’ll recognize and several new offerings. New York Comedy Festival / Thru Nov. 6
Since it started in 2004, the New York Comedy Festival (NYCF) has brought five days of laughs and some of the biggest names in comedy to New York City’s best venues. Comedy greats who have performed at the NYCF in the past include Denis Leary, Dave Cook, Bill Maher, Tracy Morgan, D.L. Hughley, Howie Mandel, Kevin Hart, Andy Samburg, Kathy Griffin and many more. Produced by Carolines on Broadway in association with Comedy Central, this year the festival will include more than 200 comedians performing more than 60 shows at more than 20 venues throughout NYC. TCS New York City Marathon / Nov. 6
Boasting an impressive 45-year history, the New York City Marathon has grown over the years from a small race in Central Park with only 55 finishers to the world’s largest and most popular marathon. More than 50,000 participants made it across the finish line in 2015 and this year the event is expected to draw at least that many entries. The marathon winds through all five boroughs of New York City and is the largest marathon in the world. For more information, call 1-855-569-6977.

Veterans Day Dine Out for Heroes at Rocco Steakhouse – Nov. 11
Support veterans by dining out at a popular steakhouse in New York City on Veterans Day – Friday, Nov. 11, 2016! Rocco Steakhouse is a popular dining destination that has partnered with the Bob Woodruff Foundation to support this important initiative and will donate $1 from every sale to support programs that benefit injured veterans.

Radio City Christmas Spectacular / Nov. 11 – Jan. 2, 2017
As the official start of the holiday season in New York City, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular has been one of the city’s top seasonal events since 1933. The show takes place in the legendary Art Deco Radio City Music Hall near Rockefeller Center and features tap dancers, flying Santa and – of course – The Rockettes. Exhibitionism – The Rolling Stones / Nov. 12 – March 12, 2017
This must-see show will make its North American debut in New York City mid-November at Industria, an iconic West Village venue. Delivered by DHL, Exhibitionism tells the story of the most influential rock ‘n roll band in the world, allowing visitors to experience their incredible journey to worldwide acclaim through an immersive experience that includes interactive elements and – of course – plenty of music! Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade / Nov. 24
The 90th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Nov. 24 and will include more than 10,000 participants. The parade will be watched around the world, including more than 3.5 million people on the streets of Manhattan, more than 50 million people across the nation and up to a billion more worldwide.
